LINZ OrthophotoLINZ Orthophoto Coverage

We have combined and merged all available LINZ Orthphoto's to give a real bird's eye of terrain and eye-popping 3D visuals of an area.

To the right is an area coverage map showing where the Orthophoto's currently cover. These areas and all areas in between are of course covered by the GeographX 'VirtualLand' layer, LINZ 1:50k Topographical map and basemaps.

At a resolution of around 1 pixel to 2.5m, the Orthophoto is a great way to better visualise an area, see its vegetation, make out buildings, terrain and landmarks with ease.

Memory-Map Topo Regions

With such a low cost of entry there's no excuse for not trying out the next generation of interactive mapping software! For just $119.95 you receive a full, licensed copy of the Memory-Map software plus the above maps covering 1 of 6 regions (upgradeable).

North Island regions centre on Lake Taupo with a 20km overlap. From Lake Taupo the breaks head directly north, west, and roughly south-east (to Paoanui Point).

The South Island regions also feature a 20km overlap. The break between regions 4 & 5 runs from 6km north of Greymouth through to Cheviot / Gore Bay. The break between regions 5 & 6 runs from the coast near Lake Paringa to 4km south of Timaru.
