Privately owned and established in July 2000 by Richard Stephens, Memory-Map has offices in New Zealand, the UK and in the US. Products can be purchased globally both direct and through selected regional retailers and distributors.
You may be wondering (like most of the competition!) how we achieved the fast scrolling and zooming in Memory-Map Navigator. Richard is a software developer with 15 year's experience in scientific super-computing and high-performance real-time systems such as medical imaging machines and high-end radar systems. Think of a giant radar, generating hundreds of megabytes of data per second. All this data is processed and presented to the operator in a few milliseconds. This background gives a programmer a different mind-set from a typical windows or database programmer!
